Roof tiles

Baked earth. Baked-in colour.

When it comes to performance and colour, nothing is longer lasting than Terracotta. Made from natural Australian clay and fired at a temperature of over 1000°C, baking the colour right into the tile.

Crafted for Australia

Five reasons roofs stay terracotta.

01
Natural materials
Crafted by Australians from naturally occurring clays of the Australian landscape. Water running off a terracotta roof into rainwater tanks is clean and safe to drink.
02
Long-lasting colour
Colour is baked right through the tile so it never fades under the harsh Australian sun. Monier guarantees the colour for a minimum of 50 years.
03
Australian made
Every Monier Terracotta tile is shaped, moulded, sourced and made in Vermont, Victoria. Locally made means shorter wait times and fewer breakages.
04
Natural insulation
Terracotta keeps your home cooler in summer and warmer in winter. Combined with sarking it creates a healthier home with less condensation and mould.
05
50-year guarantee
Monier guarantees their terracotta product for 50 years and most tiles last decades longer. Fired tiles are inert bodies with no lead or cadmium in the glazes.

*Colours reproduced as faithfully as possible; actual tile colours may vary by screen. We recommend viewing tiles at a display centre or requesting a sample before deciding.
